The Victorian Chapter of the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) held their 2020 -2021 Excellence and Apprentice Awards virtually on the 11th of February.
The NECA Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and accomplishments of the people and businesses in Victoria’s Electrical and Communication industry.
We are delighted to share Fredon was awarded State Winner in the Voice / Data Communications & Audio Visual category for their works on HMAS Cerberus – ICT Buildings & Infrastructure upgrade.
This large and complex project was part of the complete upgrade of the communication services at HMAS Cerberus. Fredon replaced existing asbestos pits, updated communication infrastructure to approximately 100 buildings, and installed over 50km of underground conduits and numerous new communications racks before completing critical communications changeovers.
