Winners Voice/Data Communications & Audio-Visual – Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Woden Campus
Fredon Technology delivered a highly complex and integrated Audio-Visual and communications solution across a purpose-built education facility.
The team was responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Cisco video conferencing teaching spaces, TV and media studios, music studios and a multifunction events facility.
The project integrated specialist technologies including Cisco, Blackmagic, JBL, Allen & Heath, AVID, Dante and Sennheiser across interconnected environments. The Cisco teaching spaces support flexible video conferencing and collaboration, while the TV and Media Studios feature Blackmagic video routing and 12G infrastructure for professional production.
The multifunction space incorporates a JBL line array, production lighting, projection, Cisco VC and Blackmagic video routing, supporting conferences, presentations and live performances. Four music studios and two control rooms feature extensive connectivity, enabling audio and video to be distributed across the facility.
A key achievement was the seamless integration of these complex systems with the client’s network and production infrastructure. Through detailed design workshops, coordination and commissioning, Fredon delivered a reliable, intuitive and future-focused solution.
CIT Woden project showcases Fredon Technology’s capability to deliver sophisticated Voice/Data Communications and Audio-Visual systems at scale, supporting teaching, collaboration, professional production and live events.
Congratulations to the Fredon Technology project team for delivering an outstanding project!
