The Alex Hotel was extensively rebuilt and refitted, to a high specification design that was amended regularly during construction based on client requirements and evolving design development. Fredon worked closely with the builder and architects to adapt to the challenges of the project.

Works included:

• Demolition and disconnection works
• Temporary lighting and power services
• Supply and installation of a fully functioning CBUS digital lighting control system including controls and fittings to common areas only
• Supply and installation of light fittings and associated cabling, mountings, switching and controls
• Supply and installation of electrical services, main switchboard and distribution boards
• Supply and installation of voice, data and optical fibre backbones including communications racks and infrastructure to rooms
• Installation of dry fire systems within the building
• Installation of the closed circuit television system and monitored security systems
