Fredon is delivering the Design and Construction of the mechanical services for Campbelltown Hospital’s new Clinical Services Building.

The new 12-storey building will be delivered as part of the $632 million Stage 2 redevelopment of Campbelltown Hospital. When completed, locals will see an expanded emergency department, maternity ward, mental health unit, additional 12 operating theatres, increased ambulatory care services, upgraded medical imaging department and increased cancer services.

Fredon will complete the following for the new build:

• Building Management System (BMS)
• Energy Management System (EMS)
• Full mechanical air handling plant, providing air conditioning and ventilation to all areas
• Heating and chilled Water plant
• Steam plant serving the Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD)
• Specialist exhaust systems
• Isolation room designs
• Zone pressurisation and smoke exhaust system
• Stair pressurisation system
• Coolrooms

Locals of south west Sydney will have access to world-class health care and facilities when the Clinical Services Building opens for operation in 2022.
