Indooroopilly State High School is an independent public school for secondary students located 7km south-west of Brisbane’s CBD. The school recently underwent redevelopment to improve its facilities, incorporating a new multipurpose hall with three sports courts, separate gym, storage, teaching rooms and the capacity to seat its 2500 students.

ADCO Constructions engaged Fredon for the supply, installation, programming and commissioning of the AV systems.

The fit-out works included:

• Video Systems and Audio Systems in Main Hall Area.
• Camera System mounted on the walls and centre of court ceiling to capture on-court action.
• Signal Processing & control – transmitted on a Dante audio network
• Install AV Systems in various locations include the Sports Theory & Nutrition area, Gymnasium, and the Foyer.
• Supply and Install Hearing augmentation and wireless microphones.
• Install a separate PA system in the amenities to reproduce audio from the Front of House speakers.
• EWIS interface to cut off audio to all loudspeakers when an emergency evacuation is triggered.

Students and teachers were able to enjoy the new facilities from the beginning of 2021.
