Fredon’s HSEQ Coordinator for ACT, Ian Knox has been working with onsite teams to improve safety to the highest level. The entire ACT team have demonstrated a commitment to work health and safety and should be incredibly proud of this achievement.

Certificate of Commendation: National Library of Australia

The National Library of Australia project was completed in January 2018 and involved electrical and communication construction, reactive and planned maintenance, small works, facilities management, thermography and fibre works. Fredon were engaged directly by the National Library of Australia to upgrade the lighting in their theatre space, where we worked closely with the consultant to install a solution to meet the clients needs.

We installed colour changing LED extrusion behind timber panels on the sides of the theatre, and a set of 3 colour changing LED extrusions in the “wave ceiling”. The lights are controlled by a Dynalite based system, and controlled from the podium or the Bio box, providing user-friendly access to create a scene tailored to their requirements.
