Environment

Fredon takes its commitment to the environment seriously and has implemented several initiatives to improve our carbon footprint. For example, wherever possible we pre-assemble project fixtures at our premises. This allows us to increase recycling of materials and reduce packaging travelling to site. It has the added benefit of reducing staff on-site to create a more efficient project workspace.

Fredon has extensive experience working in highly rated NABERS/ Green Star environments and have Green Star qualified engineers on staff. We have worked on many flagship environmental projects, including 161 Castlereagh Street, and Barangaroo in Sydney, which aims to be the largest carbon neutral commercial precinct in Australia.

Fredon is an active member of the Green Building Council of Australia.

Quality

Fredon has developed and implemented an integrated quality management system compliant with the international standard ISO 9001.

The integrated system described in the Fredon Management System Manual provides a framework for ensuring Fredon and our subcontractors establish and maintain best practice controls. These controls are designed to identify and rectify potential quality, as well as health, safety and environmental issues as early as possible during the provision of our services.

Fredon is currently certified by a third party auditor (Global-Mark) to ISO 9001:2016.
