Allstaff Airconditioning reached a milestone last week, celebrating 45 years.
The company was formed by a group of employees, after Frigrite Airconditioning, a public company, decided as a result of deteriorating economic conditions and lack of profitability, to withdraw from the installation side of their business. The group of employees negotiated an agreement to complete all outstanding projects and Allstaff Airconditioning was incorporated in December 1974.
The company was operating from a rented premises in Levanswell Road, Moorabbin and began bidding for contracts in its own right. Further profitability enabled the company to purchase land at 379 Lower Dandenong Road, Dingley VIC and the existing premises still occupied by Allstaff Airconditioning was built in 1986.
Allstaff was sold to Mr Kent Williams in 1996 and the company expanded in to NSW and the ACT. Ownership of Allstaff changed hands again in 2009, before being acquired by Fredon in August 2019.
Congratulations to everyone at Allstaff, past and present, on this achievement.
