Fredon’s Chief Operating Officer, Nick Luzar, delivered the Occasional Address at the graduation ceremony at the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment and Centre for Infrastructure Engineering at Western Sydney University on Wednesday, 26th April 2023.
Nick is dedicated to developing the future of the Australian construction industry. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial construction and project management, and is also a part-time lecturer and supports the NSW building commissioner’s office.
In his address, he shared his encouragement and advice to the graduate cohort –
“It is worth recognising the improvements in our lives did not happen by accident. It has taken brilliant people just like you educated, intelligent and passionate people who recognise that the world is better than it has ever been but we can make it better still.”
“Pursue what you are passionate about. Pursue what drives you and what gets you out of bed every day. For that passion and drive is what makes great leaders and what will drive our industry and the world forward.”
We join Nick in congratulating the graduates on their achievements and wish them all the best in their future careers in the construction industry.
