  • re-divert the existing incoming HV supply cables from the Supply Authority Pole to the new ISS substation and reconnecting all outgoing HV feeder cables to the existing RAAF base.
  • supply and install over 1600 metres of 22kv HV Cable across two locations on the Airbase.
  • excavation and installation of pit and pipe for the HV cables whilst maintaining the power supply across all essential buildings on the Air Base

Fredon completed the project in a 6-month timeframe. It involved using airfreight to deliver the HV Switchboard from overseas and coordinating with all regulatory authorities to transport the oversize Substation by road from South Australia to the project site in Victoria.
