The WA Chapter of the National Electrical and Communication Association (NECA) held their annual NECA State Awards for 2025 on Friday 5th September. These awards highlight the achievements of individuals and companies in the Electrical and Communication industry.
We are delighted to share the Fredon WA team were recognised with a Commendation in the Commercial Medium Project Award category for their work at 1 Midland Square.
Fredon WA Electrical successfully completed the internal demolition and electrical upgrade at 1 Midland Square in Perth, WA. Delivered in two stages to maintain full operational continuity, the project included major electrical infrastructure upgrades, solar power, structured cabling, security systems, dry fire protection, feature lighting, and advanced DALI lighting controls. Despite the challenges of working within an aged and continuously occupied building, the team ensured zero downtime, enhanced safety and compliance, and future-proofed the facility for years to come. Completed in April 2025, this project highlights Fredon’s capability to deliver complex upgrades in live environments with innovation and precision.
