Fredon’s Annual Online Conference is where we celebrate our people’s excellence and innovation through our internal Project & Service Excellence Awards program.
The Fredon Infrastructure project team were awarded Fredon’s Minor Project Award in recognition of their efforts on Morphettville Bus Depot Electrification.
Fredon Infrastructure is proud to have worked with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport and Transit Systems on electrification works at Morphettville Bus Depot, supporting the State Government’s transition towards a zero-emission bus fleet.
Fredon delivered the concept, design and construction of the electrical infrastructure required to support charging for 60 Battery Electric Buses (BEBs).
The project included the installation of two new Main Switchboards, three C802 Dual and three C803 Triple Kempower charging cabinets, 60 satellite charger plugs, associated controls, communications and LV cabling, as well as integration with the site’s load controller and dynamic charge management systems.
Fredon also delivered temporary charging solutions across the Morphettville and Mile End depots to support the initial rollout of 20 BEBs.
A significant project supporting a more sustainable future for public transport in South Australia.
