Fredon will deliver the Audio Visual services for the new maximum-security prison at Chisholm Road, in the Barwon prison precinct in Victoria. Upon completion, the facilities will have the capacity to accommodate 1248 prisoners.

As part of the project, Fredon will supply custom works, including a bespoke video wall mounting system for the prison’s control room and over 60 custom armoured display enclosures. Working with the stakeholders, Fredon also incorporated design and installation changes to install new web conferencing technologies.

Other works as part of the scope include installing site-wide PA system, IPTV system and AV systems to the auditorium, multipurpose theatre, cultural centre & meeting place, boardrooms, & combined meeting rooms.
