Fish Lane Arts Precinct, located in South Brisbane, is a vibrant inner-city laneway that recently underwent a revitalisation to transform an underutilised car park into a new urban park called the Town Square.

The revitalisation also included refurbishments to existing tenant buildings, lighting and public art installations and significant landscaping incorporating over 3000 plants.

Fredon delivered the Audio Visual services to four zones on the redevelopment, including the public park, two tenant buildings, and one new kiosk. The AV solutions included:

  • Audio System for the general Town Square area and the kiosk. The systems composed of loudspeakers, in-ground subwoofers, digital audio processing, amplifiers and Dante input plates.
  • AV Connectivity and Patching in key locations, featuring weatherproof secure housing, data and power outlets and Dante wall plates for the input of audio devices.
  • Digital art and audiovisual data to use for future digital art displays.

Fish Lane Arts Precinct was opened to the public in December 2020.
