Fredon’s Annual Online Conference is where we celebrate our people’s excellence and innovation through our internal Project Awards program.
The Fredon Infrastructure and Fredon Air NSW project teams working on the Central Station Metro works were awarded Fredon’s Major Project Award in recognition of their efforts on this project.
The Central Station Metro works is part of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project that includes the refurbishment of Central Station, requiring major infrastructure upgrades to the station.
It was a challenging project as our teams were tasked with migrating major mechanical, LV, HV power, and communication infrastructure within the Sydney Train network.
All works were carried out while Central Station, Australia’s busiest train station, remained open and fully operational. An incredible effort.
